2017 Walk to Stamp Out Parkinson's
I'm back for the 2017 Walk to Stamp Out Parkinson's, benefiting The Parkinson Council on Saturday, October 14, 2017 as an anniversary present to my mom and Pete, who celebrate 14 years of being married on September 12th. My step-dad Pete was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 1998. For those who are not familiar with this disease, it is a degenerative disorder of the CNS and approximately one million people in the US alone suffer from it. It is chronic and progressive and there is no cure. But research IS getting closer and fundraisers like this one support that research.
