JJ's Fan Club: Pinning Down a Cure for PD
Welcome to our A Walk to Stamp Out Parkinson’s 2017 Team Page!
In the United States, 50,000-60,000 new cases of Parkinson's disease (PD) are diagnosed each year, adding to the one million people who currently have PD.
As many of you may know our father Jim Johnson was diagnosed with Early Onset Parkinson's Disease in November of 2013. We are asking if you would join us in support of our Dad, Jim, on October 14th in the 2017 Walk to Stamp Out Parkinson’s. You all know our dad and his past with wrestling and how it made him the person he is today, so we created a team with the name JJ's Fan Club: Pinning down a cure for PD. Just like Jim did on the mat back in the day he is continuing to kick ass and to wrestle against Parkinson's Disease on a daily basis. We want you to join our team and walk with us that day in support of our dad and all of the other individuals and families impacted by Parkinson's.
Join our team for A Walk to Stamp Out Parkinson’s, a campaign that spotlights the disease and gives the chance to raise awareness and funds in the Greater Philadelphia Region. Your support will help The Parkinson Council continue their work to improve the quality of care and quality of life for individuals living with Parkinson's disease.
