Walk to Stamp Out Parkinson's 2018

B-Lou's Crew

Welcome to our A Walk to Stamp Out Parkinson’s 2018 Team Page!

B-Lou's Crew has been participating in the Walk to Stamp out Parkinson's for the better part of the last decade. We walk in support and honor of Betty-Lou Ormsby, a woman who has given her all to her kids and her community. Each year, we are joined by B-Lou's friends and family to raise money for The Parkinson Council, the premiere organization supporting people with Parkinson's and their care partners throughout the Delaware Valley.  You can read more about B-Lou's Crew here https://www.courierpostonline.com/story/news/2016/09/30/marlton-family-fight-parkinsons-disease/91266086/

In the United States, 50,000-60,000 new cases of Parkinson's disease (PD) are diagnosed each year, adding to the one million people who currently have PD.

Join our team for A Walk to Stamp Out Parkinson’s, a campaign that spotlights the disease and gives the chance to raise awareness and funds in the Greater Philadelphia Region. Your support will help The Parkinson Council continue their work to improve the quality of care and quality of life for individuals living with Parkinson's disease. We're funding research at major universities like Penn and Jefferson (where they are making amazing advances), supporting the salaries of social workers throughout the region, and subsidizing the cost of programs like Rock Steady Boxing and Dance for PD, that are improving the quality of life for people with Parkinsons.
