Walk to Stamp Out Parkinson's 2018

Sisters of Brotherly Love

Welcome to our Sisters of Brotherly Love A Walk to Stamp Out Parkinson’s 2018 Team Page!

Our brother, Rob, was diagnosed with Parkinson's in his 40s. Rob moved from Long Island to the Philadelphia area in 1970 when he attended Villanova University. He married his college sweetheart one month after graduating and has stayed in the area ever since! Through our brother we were introduced to the City of Brotherly Love and we are happy to be participating in an event that benefits Parkinson's reseach in the Greater Philadelphia Region. We have created our team to raise money for research to find a cure!!

In the United States, 50,000-60,000 new cases of Parkinson's disease (PD) are diagnosed each year, adding to the one million people who currently have PD.

Join our team for A Walk to Stamp Out Parkinson’s, a campaign that spotlights the disease and gives the chance to raise awareness and funds in the Greater Philadelphia Region. Your support will help The Parkinson Council continue their work to improve the quality of care and quality of life for individuals living with Parkinson's disease.
