2018 Walk To Stamp Out Parkinson's
This year's walk on Saturday, October 13th, 2018, we are happy to be back at America's first zoo, The Philadelphia Zoo.
A Walk to Stamp Out Parkinson's is our region's largest gathering of volunteers, families, teams, and care partners in support of people with Parkinson's disease. Our walk has grown year after year, attracting more than 2,000 participants and raising over $415,000 in 2017.
This year we will not be having on-site registration. Teams with 10 or more members MUST pick up their wristbands and t-shirts in advance for immediate admittance.
Goals and Incentives
- Raise $1,500 or more by October 1st and have your team's name highlighted on the official Walk t-shirt.
- Raise $2,500 by August 31st and the Team Captain and 1 guest will be invited to the US WorldMeds Kick Off Party on September 8th at Citizen's Bank Park.
- Raise $5,000 and be invited to the AbbVie After Party.

8:30 AM: Walk Kick Off at the Impala Lawn
10:00 AM: After Party at the Peacock Pavilion Sponsored by AbbVie for Teams that Raise $5,000+
Honorary Walk Chair, David Murphy
David Murphy is the weekday meteorologist for 6abc Action News Mornings and Action News at Noon. David is involved with several local charities and has been supporting The Parkinson Council for over a decade.
